DVD – Building up the Rodeo Switchback
Probably the oldest surviving mechanically driven fairground ride, the Rodeo Switchback is the only surviving spinning top example of this type of ride to survive. Former owners include William Wilson, George Studd, Billy Manning, and Jimmy Williams. It was restored by Switchback Ventures Ltd, under the guidance of Stephen Postlethwaite, and travelled for a while in the 1980s and early 1990s.
In 1995 the Rodeo Switchback was acquired by the Fairground Heritage Trust for their collection, and after a long period in storage, the ride is now built up at the Dingles Fairground Heritage Centre in Devon.

Running time approx. 102 mins (no commentary).
