Buying your Tickets Online
Online tickets MUST be paid for in advance, and MUST BE BOUGHT NO LATER THAN THE DAY BEFORE THEY ARE TO BE USED. Tickets bought online on the day of your visit will be invalid. Purchase SAVER tickets to get even better deals on ride tokens
Select your tickets from the options shown above. Select the quantity required for each class of ticket and click the “add to cart” icon.
When you’ve finished selecting your tickets you can view cart – see right hand sidebar – to make any final adjustments to ticket classes and quantities, then click checkout and follow the instructions to pay online.
You will receive an email upon completion – THIS IS YOUR TICKET – WE DO NOT POST TICKETS TO YOUR ADDRESS.
You can print out your order confirmation email or show reception on your smartphone screen.
Open tickets are valid for entry any day from 10am. Tickets are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.
NOTE: all our rides and stalls operate on a token system. Tokens have a face value of 50p. Rides and stalls typically cost from 2 tokens per person or per game. Tokens are available from reception and from the machine in the vintage fairground.
You can also purchase tokens in advance and get bonus tokens. £10 buys 20 tokens plus 2 free. £20 buys 40 tokens plus 5 free. – or use our saver tickets which include 10 tokens (40 tokens with a Family Saver Ticket).
Please note tokens have no cash value, cannot be used to purchase any other goods or services than the vintage rides and games, and cannot be refunded.
Opening times for 2017:
Half term week -Saturday 11 – Sunday 19 February
Main Season – Friday 17 March until Sunday 29 October .
Open 7 days a week from 10am each day
Open every weekend in November & December.
The Fairground Heritage Centre is operated by the Fairground Heritage Trust, registered charity no. 293579.
On arrival at the museum you will be asked if you can sign a Gift Aid declaration. If you’re a UK taxpayer and are willing to, we can offer you a year’s free re-admission in return.
The Government will then give us an extra 25%. It’s called a Gift Aid Visit and it makes a massive difference to museums like ours.
This only applies to tickets purchased via our website or at the museum. Special offers and promotions are excluded.
As you can see a little more really does mean a lot.
